Love is peace
Between the two countries,
As well as the enemies.
Love is peace
Among in the family,
Also as the brotherly.
Love is peace
Between the two lovers
Who will be come the couple.
While people falling in love,
You will hear their saying words.
“Love is blind some people said,”
Some say that “Stronger than Death”
“You are my Life and my Soul,
Without you I cannot go.”
Some say, “You are my Sunshine,
Always keeping on my mind.”
“So let’s say one more in this Special Day”
“You are always on my mind,
And my beloved Valentine,”

A Child’s wonder!
Tell me Mum,
Why we are called refugees, By: Rimond Tha Htoo
And people give us food to eat? Karenni State
Oh dear,Date: 7th January, 2002
Cause we left our homeland,
And seek refuge in Thailand?
Tell me Mum,
Who made us leave our homeland?
And instead live in Thailand?
My dear,
It’s Burmese military,
Who’re known as S P D C?
Tell me Mum,
Do only us Karenni,
Are here as the refugee?
Oh dear no!
Not only us Karenni,
But Shan, Karen oh so many!
Oh Mum,
Why they (SPDC) treated us like this,
Don’t they known what human rights is?
Oh yes – dear,
But they’re heartless men,
And full of hatred in them.
Claimed them-selves ” Ashin-Thakhin”
All ethnic “ Akon-Thoak Thin”
Oh heavens! Mum,
Did the world know about that
They’re (SPDC) abusing ethnic rights?.
Oh my dear of-course they did,
But we are only ethnic,
They don’t value and respect,
Unless the profit they get.
Tell me Mum,
Does UN do it the same
To get profit and regain?
Shih! Shih! My dear,
You better ask directly
To your uncle Razali,
Ethnic rights or currency
Which one for him it should be.
Note: SPDC = Burma regime, State Peace and Development Council.
Ashin-Tha-Khin = Lord.
Akon Thoak-Thin = Wipe out, exterminate
In the present time: Gambari can be placed in Razali

Even the right of to life
We've suffering from genocide.
4. From whom can we get Justice
We want to know who hold it,
The NGO, the Mass or UN?
Please tell, tell us oh dear friends.

Fortune
Once I was on my way
Down to the way Nanh Onh Lay,
I heard the cry of baby
Then I stopped suddenly.
I can't believe of my ears
For there is no village here,
Straight I went to the sound
Not ghost but human I found
I can't believe of my eyes
Dead body of woman lies,
Laid down by a new born child
The one who I heard it cried.
I wonder why they were here
For here is a deep jungle,
Why she didn't give birth at home
And why she came here alone?
I felt petty and mercy
On ground down I knelt slowly
Gently picked up the baby,
It's a girl and so lovely.
I whispered:
"Don't cry baby,
I will be your dear daddy."
It's fortune of the ethnic
Those under the dictatorship
How many woman and child
Been killed by Slorc and died?
O' Lord, -
When Thou will be done on earth
as in heaven: among us?
No more hidden no more fear,
Living at home without tear.
Also let there be mercy
Among the SPDC. End
This poem was based on an adopted daughter. Whose mother fled hidden in the jungle gave birth to her child and died in 1989, because of the Spdc military opperation.

Tell me Dad
Tell me Dad where is mummy?
For others they have mummy.
Dear- why you ask about that?
I feel sorrow and so sad.
Oh look! Daddy is crying,
Do I make something harming?
No, dear made Dad nothing harm,
Dad just rubbed eyes with the balm
No, Daddy you just lie me,
I know something you must feel,
What wrong with you O’ my Dad,
You look sorrow and so sad.
Come: Sit and listen to Daddy,
I will tell you the story.
“ It was year one nine nine six
When you are in age of six
One day come Burmese soldiers
Place where we hid in jungle.
They then open the fire
Shooting us with their rifles.
All ran to save our lives
Some can run and some can hide.
But your mum, sis, and brother,
Included grand mum, grand father.
Four other of villagers,
Captured by Burmese soldiers,
They shot onto one by one
All dead and fall on the ground.
Two months old of your sister,
Died together with your mother,
Three years of age your brother
Fell dead under your mother.
Nine dead persons lied on ground
Included your grand Pa and mum
It made Dad so horrified
Down on ground Dad knelt and cried.
Oh no! Dad, who killed mummy
And why they are so crazy?
Here my boy listen to me
I will tell who killed mummy?
They are called S P D C,
The Burmese military.
Why they called SPDC?
Tell me –tell me oh Daddy.
